GSM/EDGE/GPRS RF Optimization Engineers Contract
Our client is looking for an experienced GSM/EDGE/GPRS RF Optimization
Engineers for their project based in Iran.
Collect and analyze statistics from OMC, system interfaces, system tools,
protocol analyzers, etc. Process and analyze drive test log files to solve
problems existed. Maintain the overall performance of GSM/GPRS/EDGE Network.
Produce daily, weekly & monthly statistical and graphical reports
representing quality and performance of the system in different type of
format ie spreadsheet, graphical representation (line & bar charts).
The summary of the services that must fulfil are specified below:
Reporting monthly all of the Optimization Services performed by Contractor
and the resulting effect on the BSS performance, included but not limited to
an analysis of each drive test and an analysis of each site in relation to
its neighbouring sites. The reporting actions shall be performed in
accordance to clients requirements. Contractor shall identify the
problematic areas in GSM/GPRS/EDGE network, quantify its impact in the local
network performance and propose changes that can lead to a solution, or at
least, to a significant improvement in network usability. The analysis and
adjustment of performance and physical parameters of Network Elements. (For
example, this may include the adjustment of the signal strength of a
transmitter or antenna or changing the angle or direction of a transmitter
or antenna). Troubleshooting and analysing BSS performance. Periodic drive
and walk-testing for the purpose of collecting statistical data and
verifying the Network operation in the whole accepted Service Area, with the
intensity and period Contractor as specified in the Purchase Order,
including, but not limited to Voice, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and
Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) services. Along with periodic drive and
walk-testing benchmark the performance of the GSM/GPRS/EDGE Network against
the performance of all concurrent GPRS/EDGE Networks in the Service Area,
with the intensity and periods as specified in the Purchase Order.
Suggesting Capacity improvement. During maintenance and troubleshooting, if
any problem detected due to low capacity of the RF resources, the contractor
should suggest the solutions to increase the capacity(either soft or hard
capacity) using the available techniques including, but not limited to
base-band expansion and carrier expansion. Integration and Optimization of
upcoming Network Features with reporting of improvements due to the use of
the referred features. This item especially refers to GPRS/EDGE network.
